Largest Tire 2 fit 04 FX4 F-150

Hello,
I have an 04 FX4 F-150 with 18" stock wheels. I plan on getting a leveling kit and wanted to see what the biggest tire anyone has put on this combination. From what it sounds like a 305/65/18 may be the limit and some say they get rub. Please advise.
Thank you,
Mark

Welcome to the site. This question has been asked about a million times. You can fit a 35x12.50 using the OEM wheels but they will rub the control arms slightly at full steering lock.

I agree with Wandell with the 35x12.5 being the largest you can fit, but the 305x65 which is close to 34 inches tall may be a better fit on the OEM wheels. BFG makes this size in an all terrain if that's what you want. BFG makes a 325x65x18 (35x13) or close to it but these may rub on the control arms pretty bad.

I agree. Spacers are generally a bad idea, especially on trucks prone to vibration issues like the 04-08 F-150's.
