Tire Decision

Alright its time for new tires- but which ones?

I have the FX4 with 20in rims stock of course stock size is 275/55/20

I was thinking of going with 305/50/20 will these tires fit with my setup?

If i wanted to add height to my truck what is a good size for stock 20's?

I have my eye on these tires? anyone have these?

Any help is always appreciated

They will fit with minimal rubbing at full lock. If you have a level kit you can go larger than that. If you have an FX4 why do you want a street tire?

Im open to options...

seems like all the off road terrain tires are really expensive. What do all you pay for them?

I dont go off roading really just like to have traction in snow.

I have a 2.5in leveling kit on the truck so what are my options

If a 305/50/20 is what you want I highly recommend the Cooper Zeon LTZ that I have. Tread Depot sells them for about $140. You should easily be able to get a 33" tire with a 2.5 level kit so you might want to look at a 275/60/20 or a 305/55/20.

The Cooper Zeon LTZ is an A/T tire. You might want to look a Toyo Open Country and Nitto Terra Grapplers but if price is an issue then the Cooper is hard to beat. Once you start getting into the 33" and above size the price does climb a bit. The 275/60/20 is a 33" that can be had at a good price. Check out this link. https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...-zeon-ltz.html

Id like to fill up the space in the fender and if i ever get different rims what tire would accomdate it better?

Would i rub on the swing arm getting the 305/55/20

I rub only in parking lots at full lock with my 305/50/20 and I am on stock rims. If you get aftermarket rims you can solve some of the rubbing issue with the backspacing. I think either one of those sizes will be fine on an aftermarket rim as well!

275/60/20 is 33"
305/50/20 is only 32"

Both should fit no problem, the 275 will fill the wheel well better and probably ride nicer (unless you are racing).
Nevermind...the 305/55 is 33.2" the only real difference is the profile.
