I really don't want my tires to stick out much. Ideally, right to my fender line. I believe that the +35 measure would do that but my search hasn't revealed any one who has them.
Anyone? would I have any problem with the inside clearance?
thanks to anyone who can give me advice.
i assume you will be running an A/T or M/T tire? if thats the case go with +18, I'm sure you will be happy with that. the +35's are for street trucks with lower profile street tires.

this is the only picture i could find that will show you how +18 will look, if i get a chance i will take a better one tomorrow and post it

It's funny but I have 17" wheels with 4.5" of BS and because my tires are only about 11.50" wide my tires hardly stick past the fenderwell at all.[IMG][/IMG]

But remember, he is considering a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of BS.

Here's a question I have as I too vacillate between 20x9 and 20x10. I really want the 20x10, but I will only ever have a level lift on this truck. Part of the recommendation here is to stay away from the 20x10 w/a 4.5 inch BS is because it will stick out a lot, and it should only be for truly lifted trucks. My question is how is it better for a truly lifted vehicle since it would, presumably stick out the same amount?

My sense is that some folks don't like the amount they stick out by preference, rock chips, etc. How much difference would a 20x10 w/a 4.79 BS make in this equation? (I am looking at wheels with this exact dimension).

Thanks, Mike.

On a lifted truck, the wide wheel and shallow BS will increase the track width and help to balance out the increased center of gravity the lift creates.
A 10 inch wide wheel with 4.79 inches of BS will stick out about 3.25 inches farther than the OEM wheels.

Can anyone give me an idea of how much my MPG are going to decliine, once a 6" lift, 35x12.50, and 20x10 rims are installed? I am currently running 20s with 33.12.50 Nitto TGs, no lift.

Well since you're already running 20s with 33x12.50's it's not going to suffer much. When I went from stock to 6'' lift, 18x10 rims, and 35x12.50 tires I lost 5 mpg on average. But it doesn't matter it was worth it!
