295x70x17 Toyo MT's?

Had them rotated yesterday at 11k miles and they are wearing great, still look new. Two things I've noticed is that they handle better in the rain then I thought but make more noise at crusing speed's. Not bad but a little noisy. Nobody will stay along side of me with their window's down at 65mph!! Good thing

How often do you hear stones get slung? I would prefer to switch to some step bars like the FX4s similar to your set of bars, but with all of the driving on gravel my truck sees in a week, I'm always hearing a stone get slung up to hit the under body, or the underside of my big ole plastic XLT running boards. They are hideous but it sounds like they have saved my paint on many occasion. What is your review on those tires with your bars? Any door damage?

Paw Paw: A "little noisy" just means you need to turn your cruising tunes up just a tad. That is a great looking tire/wheel combo. I love my A/T's so far and they ride nice and quiet. So far they are great in snow and rain as well. I gave up a little width to go with more height.

The 295x70x17's convert to 33.5x12x17 which is almost a 34" tire. I find this size to work out great on a leveled 4x4. I think a 275x70x18 would work out great on the stock wheels on your truck.

That's a good size tire also, I think it's a 34x11.5x17. A little taller then mine but not quite as wide. On a 17x8 or 17x9 wheel they'll look great. I've had 35's and 33's but like the 34's better. The 3.73's and the Edge programmer help out a lot too.

Yep those are the right dimensions. I have 17x8 XD spys to put them on so I think it will look good. Right now I am running Firestone Destination MT in 285/70/17 and they are just too small looking. I would also like to get new gears but man they are expensive. Someday...

That setup ought to look great. The Toyo MT's are real heavy so you may want to upgrade your brakes if you haven't done them yet. If you have the 3.55's and a programmer you should be OK as far as performance goes. My tires are heavier then the 315x70x17 BFG AT's I had on before and I get about 1 mpg less on the highway with the shorter tires due to the heavier weight and more rolling resistence compared to the BFG's.
