There was exactly 4" of space between the top of the tire and the fender with 285's on a stock suspension.
If you like the stuffed look,(which i love it) That would look sweet on your truck with your wheels especially Alex imo.

the bigger the tire compared to the ones you had before the softer they will ride. the should last a good 40K+. also the tires are probably like 3 ply which is a real soft ride

Nah man...they are 10 ply and they are load range E... but they seem like a softer tire than my old bfg's which were 8ply D range and i put bout 18k on those before i got rid of the truck adn they were prolly close to havein 70% tread still!! I'm hopin for about 50k atleast maybe?

Its actually a nice day let me go see if i can clean it up get sum good pics before work!

yeah def need to do sumthin bout those lights! ive thought about exhaust but i dont wanna spend a ton of money on it and it not sound like i want it to. its hard to get the sound you want on these trucks. my 98' was just strait piped with the 5.4 and it sounded good and loud...kinda got tired of it tho. i want one that u hear when accelerating but quiet when at idle...you kno of any good exhaust for the 4.6 that are like that?

i have a dynomax bullet 3" muffler on mine and thats pretty much how it sounds. its got a low rumble (noticible) at idle but wakes up when you hit the gas. i do have the 4.2 however and im also gonna be running high flow 3" cats next week so well see what that does. im gonna do before and after videos

Well darnit I never heard anything about Jake getting high flows. I got a shop the other day to look at my exhaust and give me and estimate. I was just curious as to how much it would cost. He told me that he would gutt the pre-cats,replace cats with high flows, and run new 2.5" pipe to the Y for $350. I have not decided if thats a good deal or not yet, and besides gutting pre-cats is not legal. And I heard it smells like butt.

Offroadn98. I would suggest getting something like a 40series from flowmaster and running a SI/SO. Maybe leave it at stock location too. It would not be very loud unless you were accelerating, but you would definitely be able to tell you have some sort of exhaust on it at idle.
