Can someone pls help...tpms

I have switched my wheels from the stock 22" limited wheels to an 18" 5- double spoke chrome cladded wheel also made by ford. Now my tpms light comes on and off. I have bought the reset tool thinking it would work, but guess what? Not Workin. The 18" wheels, i had bought off of another guy who also had either a 2007 or 2008 f150.

Did they have sensors on the rims? He could have kept the sensors for whatever rims he was putting on.

as far as i know, he never had the tire departed from the rim. he took the wheels off his truck, did a lift and added new wheels and tires. is there a way with out takin the tire off the rim to see if the sensor is in there? maybe thru the dealer?

yes, your dealer or a tire store would have a sensor tool to see if the sensors are on the wheels without taking the tires off.

Me too

I had that problem on my 07 FX2. Tire shop found that the band broke and the TPM was tumbling in the tire and went bad. I bought a full set off of Ebay and I have 3 left if you need one.
