Spare Tire

I just bought a 2007 F150 SCrew got a good deal on it and has the options I wanted. This is a big move from the 01 Ranger I had... My 07 did not come with a spare tire. I can buy the steel rim online for a good price. Will this fit where the spare goes? It's not a matching rim but I don't need it to be.

Thanks

Why not check the salvage yards, see if you can pick up a complete spare already mounted? Did it have the jack in place?

Where are you located? I have a brand new one off my 07FX4 that has never been on the ground. It's in my garage just takin' up space.

I am in Cedar Rapids, IA... I have called the local salvage yards and for steel spare rim mounted with a tire is $165.00! I thought the price was high. I don't need a matching rim just want something for the spare. Truck has the jack in it.

For a minimum 17" diameter rim and tire, $165.00 is high for used / salvage. Try another salvage yard... If that is what they go for in your local area, that is what they go for... For that price though, unless you are running KR 20s or something like that, you should be able to score a matching road wheel / tire instead of the cheesy steel spare setup....
