Yeah, I tend to agree that the wheel wells look a little too stuffed. I think it would look better with a three inch lift but I'm a poor college student right now and I'm gonna try and save up my money for an old old 4x4 and make that my mud truck. And the feeling of getting the tires on is pretty awesome. I like the look of the 33's and would do it again if I had the chance. It looks much better than with the factory 29 inch road tires. I think it should be a crime to put tires that small on a truck from the factory.

I've got T bar keys and 305/65/17 bfg's on 17x10 centerline wolfers.........it looks sick I had to cut the front valance...a good 2" of it and the inner mudflap got cut off flush and zip tied to the inner fender and I threw out the bracket for it. I love the 305s look but I want 4.56s...even with the 5.4 it does kill the power probably 15hp give or take. your truck Looks good...needs some wheels and a lift now!

thanks for all the positive input. i have pretty much decided that i am gonna go with the 4.56's, cant wait till christmas morning! yeah, the valance was forcefully removed when i went through a ditch making a u-turn. i know it doesnt look as good without it, but i cant really spare the money. and the fog lights were $20 from wal-mart and i made some brackets so i didnt have to drill into the bumper. they are kinda starting to grow on me. and i wish i had some money for rims, but again, the whole poor college student comes to mind. ohh well. lol

Looks good and those are indeed great tires. I have the same size but in a 17" on my truck. I have 45K miles on mine and they still have plenty of tread left. Mine is also a 4x2, but having these tires has proven very well for me when doing some minor off roading (I love to camp) and for the few times per year we get snow. I'm also running 4.56 gears and I'm happy I went with them. My truck isn't my daily driver, so having the extra grunt is nice when towing or just cruising around town. If I were you, I would look into a stock 4x4 block for the rear and a 2" spacer for the front. Or the 3" body lift when you get the cash.

I have the same tires on my 03 supercrew 4x4 lariat mounted on a set of MT wheels , great choice ! I am on my second set now. I got over 100k miles on the first set with 180k miles now on the truck. Rotate when needed and keep them inflated properly. The heavier load range was a huge improvement in towing over stock junk. Good Luck.

thanks for all the positive input. i really do like the tires and with as expensive as they were, i hope they last a while!!
ChrisT, i currently have a 1.5" leveling spacer so i cant add any more up front without putting extra wear on my ball joints. the body lifts are a good choice, i just dont wanna have to go through all that work to install it and i cant afford to have a shop do it. i would love to get a spindle lift but i need to save my pennies right now.
i am planning on getting new gears for christmas and i was thinking about getting some 4.56's. i know that 4.10's would bring it back to about stock but i figure its nice to have the extra power when you need it. how's the gas mileage on your truck? i figure if the lower gears to hurt my gas mileage, it will only be like 1-2 mpg, and on these trucks, thats not much of a difference. this truck is my daily driver but i think i can afford to lose 1 mpg.
illness95: sorry, when i saw your sig, it looked like your truck was a 04-08 body style. thats why i assumed you needed the tires for a 17" rim.
