Just a question, did you have to do anything with the suspension to fit the tires, or were you able to just throw 'em on? I have a '99 and I could use some new tires. I'd like to go as big as I can without doing much else. Like you, I'm a poor college student... took me 2 months of checks to finally save enough...

i added a 1.5" leveling spacer(the biggest size you can go with without causing damage to the ball joints). the spacer itself cost $40 and i installed it myself. it was pretty simple to install. just keep in mind if you add a level kit, you have to get it alligned again.

and the tires do rub a little bit on the little mud flap thingies inside the fender at full lock. im just to lazy to trim them up and my brain is not working today or else i could tell you what they're really called. hope this helps. and if you do get new tires, GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!! lol

ohh, and my truck is a 4x2.

Nice truck, I had them on my 06 hemi great tires ride and handle real nice. I did find they wern't much good in the mud or snow though way to much slippage.

i guarantee they'll handle better in the mud than my old michelin LTX's did. lol. plus i do 99.99% road driving. i just wanted to have something that would do good if i did go off road. plus i like the look.
