Tonight I took off the center caps. I now have to look at the rusty hubs but it is better than those plastic piece of **** caps. I wish someone would fabricate other center caps for these wheels. When I took it off, if I flipped it around, it sits in the middle nicely. I want a aluminum circle, same diameter and contour, installed backwards. Then it should have about 3/4" studs/spacers for the bolts so it isn't tight to the wheel. This would be perfect, then paint if flat black and maybe put some basic design in the middle. This is a PERFECT MONEY MAKER for some fabricator who can mass produce these because there is demand for them. I would pay at least a $100 for a set, maybe more depending on how nice they look.
For now I am going to paint the hubs probably with spray paint. Any recommendation on what type of primer and paint to use on the rusty hubs and what the process should be??
