F-150 Limited - 275/45 R22

Hey guys, new to the board and new F-150 owner. I recently picked up a Lariet Limited. And I am torn about changing the "look" of this truck. But she is needing tires and we do get some snow around here. So my question, like I see others asking on here. How big of tires can I safely get on here WITHOUT affecting the ride that much : ) She is a very comfortable ride now and I would like to keep it like that. I would think I should be able to do 33s with no issues right? (305/45 R22). I really like the looks of the BFG tires but they seem to only come 325/50 R22. Not sure if that would fit or not.

Thanks for the info

Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? At stock height, a 305/45-22 should fit even on a 4x2 unless the wheel has a weird, shallow backspacing.

If I were you, I'd install some 305/45-22's, a set of rear lowering shackles and remove the steps.

I thought about that. I think I am trying to do away with the "street truck" look however. I dunno need to think it over I guess. Thanks for the input however.

Thanks man. I looked at a couple Mark's. I liked 'em. All the ones I looked at however weren't that clean. Pretty beat up.

That's a fine looking truck just the way it sits!! Larger tires may inhance the look (they usually do) but unless you want a street truck I wouldn't lower it.

Nice looking truck. I think I would level it out though one way or the other?

It sits fairly level now from my eyes. What benefit does that offer?

Just eye appeal is all the factory rake tends to be a lot. No real benefit otherwise. If your prefer more of a street look you could drop the rear some or if you don't like that then the front could be raised with a level kit which would probably look better if you are going 33's IMO.

its not level you can visibly see the rake...that model is more of a street truck i'd say lower the *** end a bit to match the front....the rims are nice but if you want bigger go 24's or even 26's

alright.

Alright, let me ask this way. Do you think it would look stupid or waste the "limited" factor on lifting this truck and putting some meat underneath?

That is where I am torn.....

Honest opinions.

Limited

To me The Limited = 's Street truck. Its a fine looking truck at that! And I agree with going to 24's to fill the wheelwells. IMO
