22"s

quick question...

so i want to get 22" boss 330`s on my 07 reg cab f150 xl stock suspension. i have been calling around to numerous shops such as discount tire and les schwab and even the ford dealership and they all say that i can not put 305/40 or 305/45 size tires on my truck because they will not fit. everyone on here claims they will but the manufacturer says no along with tire and wheel shops. what do you guys have to say?

Assuming you have 2wd, a 305/40 should work, a 305/45 is going to be tight (may have rubbing). Also will depend on the spec of the wheels (bs & offset).

I have 305/45-22's on my Expy. I've seen 04-08 F-150 4x2's with 4/2 lowering kits running 305/40-22's.
