A good all terrain tire ??

I am looking to replace my stock Perrelli scorpions. I really dont want to go through another winter with these tires! What is a good and more aggressive tire i can put on my 20" wheels without breaking the bank?? i love the Bfgoodrich all terrains but i do not want to spend 1700.00 on tires!! Any suggestions will be very much appreciated!!

I have Firestone Destination AT's on mine. I also looked at the Destination MT's, as well. They are very quiet and do very well in snow and on the farm.

Nitto's, Toyo's, Pro Comp's. Check around, none of the 20's are cheap.

I have the Firestone Destination ATs as well. They ride and handle great. Have performed well in snow, dirt, and mud. Only concern is wear. I will be doing the 15000 (every 5000) mile rotation, after New Years and they are already showing considerabel wear. The fact my EXpd is all wheel drive may be a contributing factor. I won't know until these wear out and I try something else. I may go with the new Dunlop Rover MAXX Traction, or BFG ATs like I had on my F150, and was very happy with.

I went through the same thing when trying to decide on tires. I knew i wanted to go with the bfgs but
didnt want to pay the price for the 20s. I deceided to go down to new 17" wheels and got the bfgs. I got
the look i was going for plus new wheels for the same price as just tires.

With OEM wheels? I would imagine they would rub badly and constantly rub the upper a-arm because my aftermarket 20x9 wheels with 5.71BS clear the a-arm with only 1/4" and rub the lower arms at full turn.

General Grabber AT's. I think they are a little cheaper than bfg at's and pretty beefy.

I hear you...I can't justify that kind of cash for tires. I wanted to get some dueller revos, however I just picked up some destination ATs for my factory 20"s. Not installed yet, but the buy 3 tires, get one free special Firestone has this month was hard to walk away from.
