Have you considered powder coating your chrome wheels and buying new tires?
I guess I could powder coat my rims now but I dont really like them anymore. I liked them when I was in highschool but I've kinda grown out of them.

you can powder coat them any color, I would suggest Matte Black. it's basically flat black with a small amount of clear coat for protection. My XD Monsters are Matte Black. the cost for powder coating usually runs $75-$150 per wheel depending on who does it.

you have to create a photo album under "user cp" and upload the photos there and then you can copy the direct link of the photo and paste it into the thread. If you create an album i can post them in here for you

Hey Neighbor

If you have to crank the torsions to run 36s, I would just stick to 35s, and run them. Trust me, the ride with cranked torsions isn't worth the extra inch or two sometimes.

Nobody has mentioned it, but are you planning on regearing, or something to run those meats? I hear anything over 33s and you're gonna roast your tranny in our body styles without a regear, or tune. Thats just what I hear though, no idea how much water it holds. Just something to think about though.

I need to see your truck though. I've been playing with the idea of lifting it, and would like to see a lifted single cab sitting next to it for comparison.

Those wheels are perfect for Powder coating. I think they will look good and you will save a bunch of $$. Maybe someone can photo shop them in black for you. Post these photos in the "PhotoSHop 1.0" thread on here and I'm sure they can hook it up

I agree with blackout, those are perfect for powdercoating. Maybe even leave some parts chrome for contrast. Either way, those wheels would look good.

JNC- My tortion bars are already cranked and I havn't noticed anything different except the nose sits a lil bit high. No driving problems. BTW I have the Edge Evolution CS programmer but its not hooked up yet so hopefully that should take care of that problem.

Blackout- You said it wold cost roughly $150 to powder coat them??? I'll look into it and see if I can find somewhere around here to do it then. That would be alot cheaper

The cost of powder coating is between $75-$150 per wheel but it depends where you get it done. If you know someone that does it, then you could get it cheaper
