check the load rating of those tires... I like the way the looked, but I had trouble finding LT rated tires in my desired size and saw the ones in the SUV category that was rated XL (get a tire guy to explain the differences as I am likely about to butcher it) but...
There was a difference in load capacity, whether it is significant or not, and I was told that there was a difference in ply rating, and the thickness (and strength) of the sidewall.

I'm NOT the expert, I was just told by most that we have trucks, that haul, and need LT rated tires... (oh, and I saw lots of chebbies with these )
All in good fun gentlmen, all in good fun...

2006 King Ranch Screw
stock tires are 275/65/18 (if I remember correctly)
How big of a tire can I go with on my stock 18" rims? I have a 2" level Kit on it and want to put a AT tire that will look good on it. I get told different sizes every place I go. I want it to look good on the truck and have a bigger tire to give it that truck look. I have been told 285/65/18 Toyo AT's and I was also told the Goodyear Silent Armor 275/70/18.
Any suggestions?

For what it is worth, I have 325/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 05 King Ranch stock wheels. I also have a leveling kit and I get minor rubbing when the wheel is cut hard all the way. In the next few weeks I will be buying new tires and I am 95% sure that I am going to get the Nitto Trail Grapplers in a 35x12.50. I am looking for a little more aggressive tire.

Im very pleased with my Nitto Trail Grapplers. They are a great looking tire for the money and surprisingly ride very well. Im headed out for a 600 mile trip this weekend and will have an update on the comfort of the ride and the roar of the tires. As of now they dont roar too bad but I have not gotten on the highway a whole lot. I will also let yall know how the gas mileage is.
