hey just a quick question. are the bolts on the XD monsters able to be removed and are they metal or plastic? i've searched awhile on google and found two results. one guy said he turned his like half a turn with a wrench and he didn't think it was getting any looser so he stopped and said they must be glued in and another guy said they were plastic, but the ones on mine certainly feel metal and i can tap on them with something metal and they make a ringing sound.

 

Pretty sure they are a plastic cover over some type of metal. I sure wouldn't put a socket to them.
