KM2 Vs Toyo MT My Review

I am just finishing up a set of KM2's(285/70/17) on my 06' and I have just started a new set of Toyo MT's(275/70/18) on my 10'. Here are my conclusions based on highway manners:

Low speed vibration: Toyo has less.

Noise level: Toyo has less.

Balance: I don't have enough miles on the Toyo's to accurately gauge, but my first impression is the Toyo as I've always had trouble getting BFG's to balance.

Looks: To close to call.

Longevity: I'm at 50k with the BFG's and I've only put 500 on the Toyo's.

Having had both sets I think Toyo is a better tire hands down. Do I think BFG's are bad tires? Not necessarily, I just think the Toyo's are in a different league. I noticed myself forgetting I was riding on Mud tires. My first impression was: Wow these are smooth!

I hope this helps others as I had always wanted to know which tire had better manners.

Thanks for the insight! For my next set I'm deciding between these two tires but I'll be going with 35" or 37". I have to say I like the looks of the KM2s better though.

My KM2s were a lot quieter and rode smoother before the first rotation. I think I just need to rotate them more often though due to the small wheel width. I've heard a lot of good things about the Toyos too, I would have gone with them if the side lugs didn't rub on the a-arm.

I almost tried the Nitto Trail but the Toyo won out. I'm anxious to see more reviews.

The noise from my KM2's always increased after each rotation but soon went back to normal after a few hundred miles. I imagine all mudders do that, idk.
