Metal Moto 951's

I am looking at the Metal Moto 951's (18x9) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these wheels?

i am looking at a 2" leveling kit with Nitto Terra Grapplers as well (325/60/18) - will there be any problem with this setup?

If anyone has any advise / pics / or anything else, please let me know.

Thanks everyone!

Scott

You will be fine if you have a 4x4.

There are a LOT of people on here with these wheels. I think this will be exactly what you are looking for.

Oh and BTW, the leveling kit will be fine with those tires if your truck is 4x4.

Thanks guys...

I am wondering about backspacing... would the "-12mm" (4.5" backspacing) work on the truck? would this make the wheels stick out from the side more than stock?

Thanks!

4 1/2" backspacing (or -12mm on a 9" wide wheel) will stick out more than stock. If you're looking at 9" wide wheels and want to look closer to stock then stick with a +18mm or higher offset. On the other hand if you're wanting a more aggressive look try to find wheels with a 0mm or a negative offset.

I am thinking about the KMC XD Monsters as well... 18x9's... Any comments of pics of them?

I am looking at a 2" AS level kit, the Monsters or the 951's with 325/60/18's - I would LOVE to see some pics of this setup (or similar).

I have a 2005 screw 4x4 fx4 - red...

Thanks everyone!

The XD Monsters are nice as well. I've got some pics saved on my home computer of some trucks with 18" MM951s and 325/60/18 Terra Grapplers. I'll post them when I get home tonight if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I don't own any of the trucks I posted pics of but from what I understand you should have no problem running 33/12.50/18s or 325/60/18s on a 9" wheel with 4 1/2" backspacing as long as you have a leveled 4x4.

luner,

the only rubbing that i had came from the side tread on the nitto mud grapplers. an the only time it rubbed was when i was turned as far as i could left or right so therefore i did minor trimming( and minor i mean i cut off a piece of plastic no more than an inch squared of both sides.. im sure if i wouldve picked another tire i would have had no problems whatsoever..
