285/55R22 fitment question

I have an 07' fX4 SC. The rake is about 2". I don't want to go any bigger than a 1.5" leveling kit because I want to keep safe angles down low and I want a little rake when towing. Ive beening going nuts trying to figure out what 22" a/t tire would look best for me(want an offroad look with decent sidewall) and I think I want to go with the 285/55R22(34.37" tall) terra grapplers because I think the 305/45R22(32.68 tall) is going to be too small.

Do you think the 285/55's will fit fine with a 15+ or 18+ offset on a 9.5" wheel? Thanks for any help/suggestions. Agadawg1717 had this setup with a 2.5" leveling kit on a 2WD. How do 2WD's differ up front compared to a 4WD?

Also for comparison, Blackout has 325/50/22's(34.84" tall) on a 05' with a 2.5" leveling kit. These are also quite a bit more wide. Also, 04/05's supposidly have a little more rake.....

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

4x4's sit 2 inches taller than the 4x2's. It will be a tight fit.

So if 4WD's sit 2" taller then 2WD's; a 1.5" leveling kit should put me 1" taller than Agadawgs rig...you would think I would be fine than right??

I would think so. I'm pretty sure but not positive, because it's an odd tire size.

Now I see Toyo makes a 305/50R22 A/T! This tire now has my attention but it is pretty dang expensive. It is around 34" tall. How do you think this will fit? Again sorry to be jumping around but I just can't decide what tire will give me the look I want.

It may come down to test fitting one.
