I’m running a 305/70/16. Granted I have about 5"s of lift, aftermarket wheels and the spindles push the tires out far but they rub ever so slightly on the fender still. If you did decide to go to those tires latter you’d need a wider wheel and some lift.

Why do you like a body lift but not coil spacers? The general consensus is the exact opposite around here. I’ve run coil spacers on two trucks with no problems at all.

Honestly the reason is I prefer the rake in the truck. Anybody got any pictures with a 3" body lift around same size tires? I wonder if the lift would make these tires look too small. These tires haven't affected my mpg by much by the way. Also, my speedo was one mph faster than actual speed before and now its one mile per hour slower than actual speed.

I also have a 4x2 with 16 x 7" wheels. I've been reading around and it seems tire size is affected by front tire steering clearance. I'm just curious if anyone has put bigger tires on the backs. I'm thinking 265/75 R16 on front and 305/65 R16 in back. They are about the same height so it won't look funny and I'd get more traction with the drive tires. My dad has a 99 250 HD with 245's in front and 305 maxxis mudders in back. Any thoughts?

Im pretty sure 305s would fit in the back-the front is what has problems. Personally I prefer same tire size all around tho.
