OK, so i have searched around with no luck. I am trying to figure out if i can go with an aftermarket wheel and if so what backspacing i need to look at.

i have an 06 stx 4x4 with a 3" body lift, 2.5" AS, and 2" add a leaf.

I need new tires and would like to upgrade to 20s. I want to keep my tires at 35" as well. Is this possible?

 

Yes. I'd suggest a 20x9 inch wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing.
