Thinking of new Rims

I have a 2004 4x4 lariat and was thinking about getting a new rim

Right now i have my 305/65/r18 BFGs and they rub at full lock even with my 2.5in level kit.

I was thinking its because those tires are designed for the 8.5in wide rim and IIRC the stock rims i have are 7.5in, and its bowing out a bit.

Are the FX4 Rims any wider? I have an opportunity to snag some FX4 20's pretty cheap.

Should i do it?

Strange. I havn't heard of anyone else have any rubbing using the 305/65-18 BFG's with the OEM wheels. All of the OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels are 7.5 inches wide. The OEM 20's are 8.5 inches wide with 6.5 inches of BS.

As Wandell said, the FX4 20s are 8.5" wide and they have 6.5" of BS. Of course, they will not work with your 18" tires, so you will be buying all new ones anyway.
