I also posted this in the powertrain forum. The guy at the oil change place today said it is probably my brakes, but I am not sure that makes sense?
OK, hooked the boat up to my truck this AM, pulled out of the drive way and noticed a squeak that came from the rear end. Did not notice it until today. Drove on it all day, progressively got worse. It squeaks when I take off, then qets softer as i speed up. I can really hear it when i push the accelerator, but if I let of, it quits? What is this? a Universal joint?
