MB Wheels Good or Bad?

want new wheels for 2000 XLT 4x4 17"x 8 or 9. Bolt pat 5-135. Pro-Comp 6047series, Ultra Predator, Weld Racing 476series. None with my bolt pattern. So I finally found MB Gunner 5 wheels! They are $100s each cheaper then other wheels, I'm not worred about price? I like the look and they come in my bolt pat. but are they any good or will I be throwing my money away? If so I was also looking at Helo Maxx 6 or ****-Cepek's. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I had the MB gunner wheels on my 2004 Screw 17x8 they were good wheels and they lasted threw the winter, the only drwback of the wheels for me was the plastic center cap. I would order 4 extra of them, if you do any off roading..

First off Thank-you's for the info! Discount Tire is were I seen them! It's great to see pic's with them on a truck almost the same colour as mine! I will be taking them off for the winter but it's good to know the odd early or late snow fall won't kill them.

I had them too, they hold up really well and are super easy to clean. I recently bought polished aluminum rims and they are a nightmare to keep up compared the MB's.

Mine are MB's from Discount tire. The finish has been quite a bit of work to take care of...it's not like a plated wheel. You have to stay on top of them. I've actually had to take mine to a pro shop and have them machine polished out a few times after some rough winters...the salt did some work on them. I've never seen a wheel I like the style of better than mine, plus the size and offset are perfect for my truck. I'd buy them again, but would probably get them powder-coated clear from day one if I could do over. Mine have stains now that absolutely will not come out, and I know what I'm doing. But, overall it is a great quality wheel and they balance out pretty nice. No problems with my center caps other than they're as much work as the wheel to keep looking nice.

P.S. This is an older photo when they really looked good. Don't have this tire now. Don't get me wrong, they still look great, but not under the microscope!

The pic. of my truck right now don't look it; I was just out mudding! But in the summer every weekend it's not raining I'm washing & waxing. They are great looking wheels I take it you can change the bead locks on them if you want to change colour?

Hats off to Discount Tire! 1 1/2 Days to ship right to my door. The gunner 5s look awsome I checked to see if they fit; now can get tires put on. I wish I would have gone bigger like 18 or 20s they look small on truck but may look better with the rubber on

My MB Razors saw only a few months of winter and they didn't react to well. The coating on the wheels seems to be coming off. It's nothing to bad but for only 2 months I wouldn't have expected this.
