I'd go with the 285x65x18 BFG AT's. These are close to 33 inches tall and will fit easily at stock height on the OEM wheels. The Duratracs are more aggressive looking and may do a little better in the mud. Both these tires are LT rated and may ride a little rougher then a P rated stock tire.

I bought the 275/70/18's not sure why they are so much cheaper but I'm glad they were...275 is wide enough for me, I just wanted a a little more in diameter so these were perfect. Doesn't make much sense to spend extra to get 285/65/18, they are .5 inch less in diameter and just 10mm wider.

I just had my 295x65x18 Duratrac's put on today, they are a great tire, no whine till bout 60 mph and even then it's not bad. The ride is the same running about 45 psi. These tires look mean.... Anyone interested I have the stock tires 275x65x18 only 1,200 mi on them, goodyear wranglers... cheap to a good home .... Also put on a flow master system now she sounds as mean as she looks..... Thanks again folks for the help.... Jack

I like the higher profile series, so prefer 275/70 over the 275/65. I think more sidewall makes a tire look it belongs on a truck. I have a different size rim than you but was able to get a 32.1" tire by going to a 75 profile tire, which I prefer. If I had my druthers I would build a wide array of 80 profile tire sizes, lots of sidewall. Those duratracs sure look mean and they meet the sever snow rating if that is important to you.
