What does age have to do with getting MT's vs. AT's? And besides who on this freakin' forum is practical! Not me, and I'm 62 Look at it this way, you'll be the coolest truck at the senior citizen's home!!!!

Go with the MT's for sure....IMO they are the best off road tire made...I had a set of 37x13.50x17's on mine and loved them.....they were quite and worked good in any situation you put them in....

OK I think what I want is a 305-65-18. I don't think I want quite 35's so I think an almost 34 by 12 wide seems like a great fit. Anybody see any problems or opinions with a 305-65-18 toyo MT on stock rims on a 4X4 with a level and stock rims? Thanks I am really counting on you.

One problem, I don't think Toyo makes that size. BFG makes it in an all terrain. Toyo I think makes a 285x70x18 MT. A 34" tire to me is a good choice but they are hard to find.

Yes PAW PAW you are right it is either 275-70-18 or 285-75-18 the 285 calculate to like 34.83 I like that size but for the money I am going to spend I want to get it right. Don't want to get a programmer right now so I just wonder if the 285 is too much tire for my truck? Thanks.

Just had level and new tires done today at Les Schwab. I went with the conservative 275-70-18 Toyo MT's. I know a lot of people said they would look too small but I am very happy. Now my truck looks like a truck. I guess they could of been a little wider but like I said, with the level and the tires I am proud of my truck. Photos coming soon and thanks for all the help from everyone.

Post pics soon! I'm about to do all this now that it seems I need new upper arms on the truck, so while it's being done I'm gonna slap the HBS 2.5" spacer on. Keeping stock 18" wheels, but I can't decide on Toyo MTs or the newer Nitto Trail Grappler MTs (both 35x12.5). I'm thinking I may hold off on the Nittos...at some point this summer I'm thinking of going with the 20" KMC XD Monsters...

Trying to post some pictures but cant figure it out yet. I love the Toyo MT so far. Look good, feel good, and they are not too loud. Yea my 05 had a 2 in. level put on it and it is about .5 low in front still looks good though.
