New to the site w/ ??

I'm new to the site and have been reading some of the past posts regarding 33's or 35's on an F150 with just a 2 1/2" leveling kit. I see that there have been some mixed feelings about the 33's or 35's with just the leveling kit. I've also tried to determine the right wheel with the right tire for the look I am going for....So I figured I'd ask the advice of some of you more experienced guys out there.....

I have a 2006 F150 XLT 4x4.......I've always had lowered vehicles, so this is my first attempt at something a bit bigger.....Would the combination below work with my truck and a 2 1/2" leveling kit????? or should I settle for the 33's?????

This is what I am looking at:

I would like to go for a set of 35s Goodyear Duratrac or similar tires.

With one of the 2 following rims, most likely 17s:

Mamba M3: specs: offset +25mm, backspacing 5.51"

or

KD Spy: specs: offset 18mm, backspacing 5.21"

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks.

As a general rule, with a leveling kit on a 4x4, you can fit a 35x12.50 using the OEM wheels (7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing) or 33's with wider aftermarket wheels. Personally, I'd go with an 18x9 inch wheel with 5 to 6 inches of BS and some 33's.

Size wise I have to agree with Wandell. Since you have a white truck you can go with just about any wheel that has the black and chrome/silver look as long as they meet the size criteria.
