Question How often to check lugs?

I just put on 16x10 AR rims and 305/70R16 BFG KM2's and I just wanted to know how often and how long I should check the lugs to see if they are backing off. The tire dealer told me I should keep checking them since it was new to the truck. How long should it take to know they are seated good and not going to back off? Thanks to all who reply.

I hope you are using a torque wrench. 150 ft lbs. I would check them after about 500 miles, then maybe every 2k until you are sure all is okay. with known lugs, etc, I check after 500, then never again, until the next time they are R&R'd.

I wouldn't wait 500 miles! I'd check them at about 25 miles and 50 miles. Some wheels are worse than others. If they are not loose when you check them, stretch out the miles.
