Tire advice please!!
recently purchased a 2001 SCREW 4x4 (16"stock wheels are staying on the truck). pic below. the tires are shot, need to have them replaced sometime this week. i will be going with a larger size tire but just wanted some input from people who have the larger than stock size on stock wheels. so i guess what i'm askin is for you all to recommend some sizes for me to check out.
thanks in advance

295/75r16 will fill up the wheel wheels real nice and thats a 34x12.00. This size looks really good on a stock truck.
305/70r16 also look good, that is a 33x12.50. Or you could go with a 285/75 (33x11.50), not really one of my favorite sizes tho but still looks better than the size on it
Or....You can jack up the front, get all the weight off the front suspension and tighten your torsion keys. This gives you a little more clearance in the front and with you stock wheels you can do a 315/75r16 (35x12.50). That's ah big tire and it will will rub slightly at full steering lock.
If your not thinking of regearing or adding any performance mods, personally, i'd do 295's.

Do you have a 5.4 or 4.6? cause its alot of power loss going with that big of a tire so you might want to think about some power adders like intake, exhaust, programmer, or you could just regear it? Your trans will thank you!
