Tire dilemma

Hey guys I'm looking at three different kinds of tires. Procomp Extreme Ats, Procomp Extreme MT, and Toyo MT. I'm wondering how durable they are, how they perform on mud, ice, and snow, and highway noise. I am running BF Goodrich ATs right now and am not impressed. They have maybe 35000 km on them and are pretty much done. Any feedback would be a great help. Thanks!

I would rank Toyo's ahead of the Pro Comp's. The Pro Comp's actually don't seem as popular around here lately. Pro Comp is made my Cooper so they are backed by a solid company I just have never heard a bad thing about Toyo's and have heard some here and there about Pro Comp (which doesn't necessarily mean you won't have a great experience with them)

Never had either but read around on here and you would swear this board is sponsored by toyo. Never heard a bad thing.

I had the Toyo Open Country MTs on my truck for a little less than a year. I live in the Oregon Cascades and these tires wear extremely well. Here are a couple of images from last Saturday, just rotated them...

They handle well in all weather conditions...

They handle good in icy conditions?

I've had extremely positive results with inclement weather conditions this past winter including snow, rain, ice, and even black ice... They are the best tires I've come across for these mountain conditions. I have been living and working in the Cascades for the past 20 years. I really feel secure with these tires...

I have to ask, what are you doing to only get 35000km out of a set of BFG ATs? I have never gotten less than 40000 miles out of a set, and usually get rid of them due to age rather than wear. I only use them in winter as there are better tires for dry/wet roads, as compared to snow etc. My current set is in it's 5th winter, and I still have almost half my tread. And I am not easy on tires.

I love my Toyo MT's! they are fairly quite for a MT, wear like iron if properly inflated, rotated and balanced. I've used them on wet, snowy, and of course dry pavemnet without complaint. Been out in the desert in the sand without any problems.

Toyo MT's are awesome! However, seriously not the best choice for winter weather!

I run Toyo MT's...with regular roations they should last 40-50K miles

I so far have had luck with all weather conditions...unfortunately no snow this year so can't comment...most MT's don't do as well as AT's in winter conditions.

Might check out the Goodyear Duratracs...cross between an MT and AT...haven't heard that much about them but they are snow rated.

I'll just throw out there that my Terra Grapplers worked awesome in ice and snow this year. In 2wd (open diff) my truck has more traction than my fwd grand prix with all season tires.

I don't have a lot to compare to but they work 10 times better than the Multi-Mile Wild Country RVT's I used to have.
