Need help!!

I'm getting ready to put new rims and tires on my truck, its a 07 F150 FX4. My question is how big of a leveling kit will I need to fit a 35" tire with a 20" rim without having the tire rub.

Thanks guys, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

It depends....what are the specs of your rims?

frmerboy9 has 35x12.50's on 20x10's with 4.5'' bs with a 3'' leveling kit....he has had substantial rubbing to take care of.

I have the 20" x 9" XD Monster's w/35 x 12.50 and I have minimal rubbing in reverse when turned hard/all the way while in Reverse. Other than that, a little off-roading and depending the angle of the incline, I get a hit or two. I trimmed the backside of the fender well, against the cab. Front has never been an issue.

What are the specs on your rims? Offset and Backspacing?

You'll want the +18mm offset. Need to keep them tucked in if you want to clear.

I have 20x8.5 with +35mm offset, soon to be changed to +10. and a 2.5" AS level. I believe I could fit 35's with either offset. lots of clearance on the UCA even with the +35.
