20x10 wheels vs. 20x9 wheels

So I'm getting ready to put a 6" lift on my truck as well as new rims and tires. For my rims I'm going to go with the black BMF Novakane's in a 20". My question though: Is there a big difference between a 20x10 and 20x9 wheel??

pretty sure they only come in 20x9 5" bs in the 6x135 bolt pattern

if your asking whats the difference between 20x9 and 20x9 like big slick said 1" but also most 20x10 wheels have less less backspacing. So the difference is 1" and what ever the backspacing on both wheels are

Sorry let me rephrase that question, I know its a 1" difference, but does any one have any pic's so I can kind of see how much they will stick out.

Thanks,

Yea I thought they only came in 20x9 to but online I continue to see 20x10's in the same pattern. But thanks for your help I'll just have to see what the backspacing is.

A lot depends upon the size of the tire. 10" may be too wide for the tire you are expecting to use.

Go with the 10", you'll be glad you did. 1" when talking wheels & tires is A LOT. 1" is a very noticeable difference when it comes to wheels & tires.g

I agree with Galaxy it depends on how wide of a tire you plan on running. If you like much wider than a 12" tire I would go with the 20x10 if they are available.

i wish my wheels were 10inches wide it would make the stance of my truck look ten times better thats why in the future i will be putting 1inch wheels spacers on to look like its a 18x10 or so

So I know I'm two weeks late, but like IDNC said, they only come in 20x9 for the 6x135. The 20x10's are the Novakane 8's.

Have you purchased your wheels yet?

Yep go with the 10s. I got em with 305 wide tires and the stance is awesome.

On a 04-10 F-150, I'd go with a 9 inch wide wheel.

The places you're calling do not carry BMF, or do not have them in stock? I know of a couple places..

Sorry.. The places I have called are all authorized dealers right off of BMF's website. Every single one of them are out of stock for the 20X9 black novakanes. What places do you know that have them??
