Thanks everyone who gave me advice on size/fit and a special thanks to those who suggested the Nitto Trail Grapplers! These things are just down right sweet! I love em.

I put a 2 1/2 level on my truck in November and have been chompin at the bits to get some new tires. Once you level it your stock tires look horrendous. Decided to go with the Trail Grapplers and put them on my stock wheels. I was debating between 35x12.5 or the 295/70-18 (34.6x11.6 approx) After some research and suggestions/pictures on here I decide to go with the 295/70-18 and glad I did. They look great, still real big and fill up the wheel well and no rubbing. These tires are very aggressive looking and worth every penny.

I originally went to Discount tire and got 4 Trail Grapplers w/ warranty and installation and they wanted $1439 out the door. That was a bit over my price range but I decide to pull the trigger. They had 2 in the local arera but Luckily for me they called me the next day and said its going to be about a week possibly 2 before they get the other 2 tires in. I said forget about it I am going through someone else. I am very happpy that I did!!!

I bought my tires from www.4wheelonline.com I would highly highly recommend this company to anyone looking for tires or anything for your f150. I only paid $998.16 to my door. Free shipping and I ordered them Tuesday the 16th and got them on Friday the 19th! That is amazing considering the price. Went to my local shop and got everything set up and got an alignment and ended up saving damn near 340 bucks that I would have lost going to Discount Tire (without the alignment).

Hey, thanks Hawg Man you had a lot to do with my decision. Thank again. I am very happy with it. These tires are not as loud as I would expect out of a MT tire. A little bumpier ride but its all worth it for the way these things look!!!

 

When I turn my wheel at full lock and move forward or back it feels like some sort of rubbing. Yet I have put the wheel at full lock without moving and it doesnt appear to be rubbing anywhere?

Will I have any issues towing a horse trailer with these oversized tires?

 

check the plastic valance underneath your front bumper, mine were rubbing here and it was nothing a hacksaw couldnt take care of

 

Ya it doesnt seem to be rubbing on that at least there is not rub marks. Thats why I am sorta confused because it sounds and feels like its rubbing but no signs of rubbing when I check it and I had it pulled into full lock and I looked at it and its not close enough to rub.... ???

you shouldn't have any problem just the millage will be lower than it normally was

It may be rubbing the uca/ball joint area...not sure but those sidewalls are aggressive enough...I am not sure if they would be wide enough to do that like 35x12.50 will.

Ya, thats why I went with these over the 35's hoping they wouldnt rub. How can I be certain on where they are rubbing?
