Need Tire Assistance!

Hey, im looking at 33" tires, and i want somthin for my daily driver, but i want a tire that will pull me through any sand and mud i may find myself up against on the local trails, and orange grove roads, im not talking about going to mud pits but just gettin to my favorite fishin holes and shootin spots! I was lookin at Toyo open countries, or Baja Claws, but im not sure! i need a good tire life, and not anything with an extremely loud hum! i do like some hum though!!

Thanks!

How about a little more info on your truck. I'm guessing it's a 4x4 but is it stock height, leveled or lifted. I'm running the Toyo MT's 295x70x17 (33.5x12x17) and really like them so far.

I'd suggest a quality mud terrian tire like the BFG MT KM, Toyo MT, **** Cepek Mud Country, Goodyear MTR, Mickey Thompson MTZ or Pro Comp Xtreme MT.
Also as a general rule, with a leveling kit on a 4x4 you can fit up to a 35x12.50 using the OEM wheels or a 33 with wider aftermarket wheels.

I like BFG all terrains myself. Good mileage and traction off road.

If you're wanting a M/T tire and you're going to run a 2 1/2" leveling kit I would go with a 295/70/18 Nitto Trail Grappler. They look perfect on a leveled 04-08 IMO.

275 = Width of the tire in mm. About 11"

65 = The sidewall height given as a % of the width. The tire is 65 percent as tall as it is 275mm wide. About 7" of sidewall.

18 = 18" wheel.
