3' Leveling Kit & 35's?

I bought a 3' Ready Lift Leveling strut for my 08 SCREW Shortbox XLT and i will be installing it this weekend. However next week ill be buying tires and am in a sort of dilemma. The leveling kit claims to fit up to 35's and there are people here on the forum that have 35's with the same leveling kit. I thought about just playing it safe with 33's. Either way im gettin BFG TA All-Terrains but if I get a set of 315/70/17's will i need spacers? Im only a kid so your advice is much appreciated.

A 3' leveling kit will be way to much ahaha....but really a 3" kit is going to be hard on your truck they put the cv's and such at bad angles some people get problems with them but some dont. And yes you can fit 35"s with that on stock wheels or wheels with the same or close backspacing. I got 35''s on my truck with just a 2.5'' leveling kit.

I'm assuming that your using your stock wheels. The 3" level is going to be rough on the truck, could cost you more with repairs overall. can wear out ball joint and cv boots fast. anyway a 2" would work with stock rims and 315/70r17's easy. Don't "play it safe" bc you'll be so disappointed with the 33's when you see someone roll by you with 35's!!! lol But with your 3" you'll ahve no problems

I have a 2007 with a 2" level. I am running 305/65R18 BFG AT tires. They are 33.7" tall and 12.2" wide. You will should clear the 315/70R17 fine. They are 34.5" tall and 12" wide. Your front end is probably gonna sit pretty high. I would consider a new rear block or an AAL, unless you want to sit nose high. That's cool too.

this guy has the same leveling kit and 35's as well, and if i need to i could get rear blocks as well. but i found some 1.5' spacers that i think could add to the saltiness of my truck.

If you add 1.5 inch wheel spacers to your OEM wheels you won't be able to fit 35's.

I would go with a 2.5 level at the MOST. You would still fit 35s just fine. What wheels r u running?

I fit 35's with a 2.5" without any rubbing after some minor trimming, I wouldnt go with a 3" cause of your angles. Plus the readylift leveling kit is a rip off so I would return it, all it is a block of metal so go for the autospring which seems to be most preferable on the site which runs about $70.

the 3' actaully measures out on a tape measure at about 2.5 so im pretty sure when they say 3' they meant how much it lifts the vehicle not the size of the spacer...

They give you more lift that the heigth of the spacer because it changes the geometry of the whole suspension. My 2 1/2s measure just over 1 1/2 but gave me the full 2 1/2 inches.

Did you have to trim anything to fit the 35" Toyo MTs? Do you have any rubbing on the control arms?
