wheel lock strategy
As I'm putting on my wheel locks (two different manufacturers because my ride sits in a lot all day, cat thefts and personally been hit with car stereo), I realized I'm just inviting a break in to look for the keys. I've squirreled away my keys in odd spots, but anyone else got a decent strategy for this?

key locks are kinda false security now days....
Best bet is a really nice alarm, and a complete set of special lug nuts(gorilla).
And when I mean nice alarm, i mean a GOOD aftermarket. My father in law had his wheels stolen right outside his bed room window with his factory installed alarm engaged that he had installed 3 days before. He also had factory locking lug nuts...

I'm kind of leery of having anyone hack up my electrical system. It was a huge leap of faith just to turn over the stereo installation.
Also the park and ride lot is out in the middle of nowhere, so I'm not sure even a deafening alarm would be much of a deterrent, but I'd already thought of getting one. I just wish there were some factory electrical extension plug kits that would leave the real harness unmolested (and that there weren't dirtbags ready to jack peoples' stuff).
