EBC pads?

So what do we think about this?

My plan is to turn my stock rotors and install EBC pads. 7000 series up front, and 6000 series in the rear.

I am looking for extremely low dust, long life, but an increase in stopping power would also be nice. But, dust and life is the most important to me.

Thanks!

Heard decent things about them (have used them on my four wheeler LOL). I got a set of Wagner Thermo quiets waiting to go on that should do the job, if you have not heard about them, they get great reviews on here and you can get a set(front) for around 50 bucks.

So those Wagner Thermoquiet pads... I just got a quote for $48 front and $45 rear. That is cheap! You say these are great pads though??

They are nice pads, extremely low dust. I never wore out the set of 6000 on my 01. I have a set of the 7000 series to put on my 08, just did not get to them yet.

So I have done a little more searching on here... I'm thinking that the Wagner Thermoquiet pads are the way to go.

Never tried them, but they do get great reviews, are readily available, and cost less. The 7000 series are going to cost over $100, which is twice as much as the Thermoquiet pads.

^ That is what I am looking at here. If they are just as good, then there is no reason to get the 7000. Now where is a good place to buy these at. I got that quote from an ebay seller, but I would almost rather buy them from a well respected online store, or here in town. I'm not sure if any parts store carries Wagner brake pads or not.

I put new EBC pads and rotors on all four corners of my wife's Audi and although they stop great they have been squeeking since 1k miles, which is really pissing me off. They are the EBC max pads and rotors, I would suggest you look else where.

Don't let this run you away from EBC...Yes the Max line is total crap, total!! But everyone makes a cheap line. The 7000/6000 pads are awesome and are exactly what you were describing in your original post. That's exactly what I have...7000 front and 6000 rear and love them. Great feel, zero noise, and almost ZERO dust. They're going to last pretty darn good too.

^ Ya I figured they were good pads, but thermoquiet pads are $103 shipped! I hope they are as good. I really hope that I won't have to get new rotors too.
