I just got my hands on some 17's DC-1 Cepek's in a trade. After going down to see my good friend that works at Maui Off Road, he pointed out to me the Cepek tires over the Micky Thompson's...

anyone run the cepek tires before? He told me that there will be noise as I drive it, but I don't actually mind it, I'm just worried about wear. This will be on my daily driver...

looking to get 285/70/17's..

 

there actually still made by mickey thompson but i know the fun country II's have great reviews for AT tires. and good mileage

 

Just ordered some 285/70/17 Cepek F-C II tires for my F150. I was told that they are good on daily drivers and should go well with the cepek DC-1's I got. Can't wait to get them in. I think after I wear these out...stepping up to some 18 XD's...lol!!!

 

go for it should look great i did the mickey thompson atz with xd monsters and love it. post some pic's when u get a chance i debated forever between the atz's or fc-II

 

They are an excellent tires but the FC II's are a little noisier than most other AT's.

 

yup..yup. that is true wandell....they told me will cause some noise when rolling...so if I can live with it...all good..lol!!!

 

I have had my FC II's for 2 1/2 years now and love them for all conditions. Wear wise they still look brand new. Yeah there's a little noise with them but is very bearable.

 

well if you want to compare noise i would say my atz's are about as loud as my old pro-comp extreme mt. yet they were on a tacoma much less weight. but road noise dont bother me. especially wid the exhaust and radio

 

Just got back from Maui Offroads where my Cepek FC II tires just arrived. put them on and I am loving it...

Unfortunately this came a bit late....i just picked up a 1990 Mustang GT vert and that is now my daily driver...but I will bring her out and about when I hit the R/C track for some off road racing...lol!!!!

Last thing I do need to do is install my Saleen grille and the smoked heads and fog lights and I'll be all set..
