Cleaning Black Rims

Is the best way to clean black rims to just use car wash soap and water? Any other tricks or tips? I use to clean my chrome ones every week, but thinking I can get away with cleaning the black every two weeks.

I use collinite 845 on my wheels, synthetic base, 5 month of durability, handles heat well, protected my XDs very well when caked in salt over winter.
