Whats you guys opinions on the "CEN-CAL" look? 22x14s

I'm considering putting these on my truck. I know Jakeko is wanting to put the Black 22x14 Octanes on his also. How do ya'll think they look? I know they're a little wide so I want to see how the 22x10 Octanes will look also. I like a wide wheel, but think these may be a little to much. I'm concerned with them causing rock chips to my paint.

Too negative of a offset and width for me, at least with that size lift pictured. I like a deep dish wheel, but those are too much/overkill. Reminds me of a truck version of the old deep dish KMC's and the like people used to run in the 80s on cars.

There are several guys who run this type of set up on the F-250s and GM 2500s that are on the GMfullsize forum. They run 12" and 14" wide wheels and have a lot of lift with small tires. Like if they have an 8" lift they only have 35's. 37s are the biggest they run with probably 10"+ of lift. Its something that I haven't seen anyone around where I live run, but looks pretty cool with the right lift.

The rim is too wide for the tire. Go for a 10" rim. They look good

So I just figured out this look is call the "Cen-Cal" look. I believe it's something that got started from california. Maybe some of you from that area can give more info.

yeah that look was on old mini trucks, and lowriders. I would say a 10" should be plenty enough. And if you look at most lifts they will tell you not to get such an offset

I like a deep wheel but that might be to much. It should have a sled hooked to the rear and be going for a full pull

Yeah I know what look you're talking about.. some of those trucks look pretty good and most well don't. Even though people talk bad about it, the dudes with the GMs that build their trucks like that have some bank.

It looks like those guys have some serious money into there trucks. I have a fee other thngs I need to buy before I put that much into my truck. If I hadto guess they have 50k easily into them, not including the price of the truck.

That's awful looking. If I saw that in person I'd laugh and give them a thumbs down.
