I'm working on a 99 150 2wd. Trying to remove the rear brake hose. I've disconnected all three steel lines, but have not been able to remove the hose from it's mounting on the rear axle. The brass body of the brake hose appears to be mounted to a breather for the axle. It looks like a barbed fitting with a nut. I have removed the vent line, but the fitting/nut won't budge. I've sprayed it with penetrant and heated the fitting, but no luck. Any suggestions? Does the nut come off the barbed fitting? Does the entire fitting unscrew from the axle housing?
