This week I ended up replacing the pads and rotors on the 04 F150 FX4. I ended up using Duralast rotors and Duralast Gold Cmax ceramic pads. The pads have lifetime warranty and Autozone also said they could be changed out every year if I wanted.

I took some time to really set in the brakes to make sure the pads and rotors are really matched well. I am also going easy on the brakes (as much as possible) for the first couple hundred miles. Just don't want to warp brand new rotors.

The combo works really good and no problems with stopping.
