it is possible you have thrown your wheel or wheels out of alignment. Probably going to have to take it to a shop to have the alignment checked out.

The brakes are easy to check. Jack it up and spinn the wheels and see if any are dragging.

Could have broken rust or something loose in the lines with the exterme braking.
Did the antilock kick in, when it pulses it could have freed up some corrosion in the lines and cause a flow issue for the fluid return.
Might try a real good bleeding and see if that helps.
Just my $0.02 FWIW.

You either have a stuck caliper, or bad anti lock sensor in that right front. You may have both..

A bad abs sensor should turn on the abs light. Again, I say stuck caliper. replace both fronts and you should be good. There is also an off chance that you could have a collapsed hose, but when you go to bleed the new calipers that would be obvious.

It should turn the light on, but won't necessarily do so. My 05 did it twice before out of warranty and the light never showed. Both times the abs sensor was bad.

the issue sounds alot more like a stuck caliper, fords known for it. My 05 had three stuck calipers bad in 54,000 miles i had it. Did the same as yours is.
