Tire and Wheel Question(s)

I have two questions.

1. I currently have 20x10" rims w/ 33"x12.5 tires on a 2010 FX4. I have a 2.5" leveling kit. If I go 4 more inches will I have to deal with a backspacing issue? I don't have one now.

2. Can I go wider that 12.5 wide tires?

I'm not really sure what you are asking. Do you mean can you use those wheels with a suspension lift? You should unless the suspension lift has specific backspacing requirements that are differnet from your wheels.

My question(s) may be odd as I never owned a truck with a lift so I am not quite familiar with some of things I need to look out for by adding a 4" suspension lift.
I've heard folks talk about rubbing issues, so I guess my question is will anything change as far as clearence behind the wheel, when lifting the truck 4".
Thanks for reading my post!

with 4" of lift. 35x12.50 with 20x9 wheel with -12mm offset will give you 4.5" of backspace. this would be a veryyy good looking setup. maybe have to do a tad of trimming.

I think he means, if he added a 4in suspension lift and kept his 33's would anything change. And the answer would be no, although I'd go with a taller tire to fill the gap. I'd go with a 35x12.5 tire like gcart suggested.
