Will tires fit?

The lift is gettin pulled on thursday and right now i have 17 by 9 wheels and 295/70/R17 tires. I have a 2003 supercrew fx4 and was wondering if 285/70/R17 will fit on there with no trimming or minor trimming. Because 285/70 is the smallest i want to go on a 9 inch wide rim.

I am certainly no expert in the matter so hopefully some others will pipe in with their knowledge. But, if I am correct, the 285/70/17's are only approx. 1/2 inch narrower and 1/2 inch shorter then the 295/70/17's. That seems to me to be a pretty minor differance in size so I would think they would fit just fine without any problems.
If I am incorrect in my thinking here, sombody Please step up and correct me.

How high are you lifting the truck? Both tires will fit a stock 4x4 at stock height using a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 or 5 inches of backspacing.

im just going back to stock suspension, its a supercrew fx4. So 285/70's should fit 17 by 9 rims?
