New rims offset help

Hi guys an other newby hear looking to get new rims 20" or 22" just not sure how to figure out the ideal rim width and offset. looking to mount a 305 / 55 R20 or a 305 / 45 R22. planning on puttting 3" and 1" levelling kit.
Is there an ideal offset where the tire dosent stick out to much with the factory fender flares.

Thanks

Pat

First, don't go with a 3 inch leveling kit. A lot of people have found out the hard way that 2.5 inches is the limit without creating extreme ball joint wear.
I'd suggest a 20x9 inch wide wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing.

I already ordered the levelling kit, I'll call first thing in the morning and change it to a 2.5" instead of the 3"

Thanks
