locks

I heard about the locks from Stealth. If you go to Ford parts online, there is a listing under the wheel section. For $50.40 . Im going to my local tax free dealer in N.H. to see if they can get them, and match or beat the price.

My locks from Ford are locks that are the same overall length as the special 22" Ford lugs. The center cap does not snap onto the lock, just the other 5 special 22" Ford lugs per wheel.

Yeah they're nice wheels, and they're forged. I just quickly washed the truck today and they are easy to clean, even the inside of the rim, the wheel openings are big enough you can reach easily in there with a microfiber wash mitt.

locks n links

the site I saw them on was Genuine Ford parts . com. Questions for Stealth . Did you do any polishing to them before or after mounting ? I've been thinking about it. to make the insides brilliant. Did you have any issues with the mounting ? I sure hope they dont scratch them up. Now Im going to be restless all next week waiting for deliveries.

Didn't do any polishing, and luckily I had no mounting issues. I went over the brand new wheels personally with the tire place manager and verified no defects, and got none after the tires were mounted.

Ive been trying to figure out what I'm seeing on one spoke, in your pics and from the ebay pics. it appears that I can see daylight coming through or a reflection of some sort at the outer edge of one spoke ?

The black painted part of the spoke has an opening at the end, I'll try to get a pic of that too.
