2001 F150 Tire Question

I need to get new tires on my truck and I think I want to get the BF Goodrich All terrain. The onyl problem is the only way to get the right size is to get the 10 ply tire. the guy at ntb said it would be a rough ride, but exactly how rough would that be?

It won't be much of a difference as long as you keep it around 40 psi

Also it won't be no worse than a 250 if you have ever been in one

40 is too low for a LR E max 80 on an F150. It should be run around 50 and no lower than 45.
Will it be rougher than a P series or LR C tire, yes, but not by a lot.

There are a lot of folks running a LR E.
