yeah i like the idea of that too to start with, but the road venture mt's are my favorite tire out there so far. Buying rims and tires together isn't a bad idea either because you said it creates a bargaining position sort of lol. It just seems like I need to save up more and make sure I can do all that I want at the same time.
I think with only a 3 inch body lift you would have some rubbing so you would have to trim the valence a bit. Nothing too big I don't think. Like discussed before, the spacer would give you even more clearance. Just remember to check the backspacing before you get aftermarket rims since they will most likely be wider than stock

welcome to the site!
i suggest getting a body lift and doing the spindle lift and try to find you some used tires to fit on your stock rims till you can save up enough to buy what you really want.
ive had 3 sets of tires on my truck, and i got them all used! craiglist and your local paper is a great help! also, check out the classifieds in the forum!

Haha I know what you mean about needing more money. The rims I have were only $118 a piece after discounts with the package. All about finding the right deal. Billet grills aren't that expensive so everything is within reach, I even saw a billet grill with a logo cutout for like $28 on ebay awhile back. Might even be more available. I've learned from this forum with HIDs, quality is worth the extra expense. Keep that in mind
