I don't know if they were old or new, but I've also heard bad things about the MT/R's... Great offroading, pretty dang poor on. Bad wear and handled bad onroad. I know that's why Jeep went from MT/R's to BFG M/T's...

Thanks Snopro...I just got back from the goodyear dealer...I priced out 275/70/18 silent armor pro grade tires. He said they list for 330 a piece. Could do them for 2 something. 1198 out the door mount/balence and everything else. A ton of coin, but it seems all tires are now, and this tire looks like its top notch. Anybody got some spare change??? :-)

Holy they must have went up a bit. I didn't get mine on sale and were 300 even per tire. But you'll like them.

Canadian Tire Prices

I recently purchased a used 2007 F150 King Ranch. The previous owner replaced the factory 20 inch rims (275/55/20) with factory 18 rims (275/65/18). I just ordered in a set of Cooper Discoverer M&S Winter rated tires with the Snowflake/ mountain symbol from my local small town mechanic for $222.00 / tire installed & balanced + taxes & Eco fees. Shopping around, couldn't find any better pricing. I have never installed winter tires before, but since I have both sets of rims I am planning on using the 20's in the summer, if I can find some decent prices for 20 inch rubber. It is alarming to find that some online tire sites (US) are listing 20 inch rubber for this truck for under $100.00, & 20 inch rubber is cheaper than the 18's.
